Sea Fever Sportfishing Whitsundays operates out of Airlie Beach – the mainland hub of the Whitsunday Islands. Airlie Beach is located midway along Australia’s Queensland coast approx 1120km north of Brisbane, and 630km south of Cairns. The colourful holiday town is an ideal base for a Sea Fever fishing trip, offering an array of accommodation options. 

Our mainland charters depart from Shute Harbour – which is a short 10 minute drive from Airlie Beach. We may also make a brief stop at Daydream Island Resort & Spa on our share charters for any guests staying there.

Pick ups from other islands i.e. Hamilton Island, Long Island etc are only available for private charters. We can also arrange pick up and return to your moored vessel if you are cruising the beautiful Whitsunday Islands and would like a day's fishing.

Great Barrier Reef The Great Barrier Reef Marine Park is approximately 348,700 square kilometres in area and approximately 2,300 kilometres long, running from just north of Bundaberg to the tip of the Cape York Peninsula and is the only known spawning ground for Black Marlin in the world. The Whitsunday region benefits from being located as one of the closest points off the Queensland coast to the Great Barrier Reef. At Sea Fever, we explore reefs such as Gould, Showers and Knuckle to the north, Black, Ross, Hewitt and Round to the east and everything in between! Overnight trips allow us to explore even further.
